Volunteer Organization Suggests Best Practices for MFA Implementation

FAIRFAX, Virginia (October 27, 2021) — Insurance carriers and their agency partners face a “gathering storm” of confusing requirements and changes in the area of multi-factor authentication (MFA) to improve secure logons, according to ID Federation, the nonprofit coalition of industry leaders that developed the SignOn Once single-sign-on solution for online security. The volunteer-led organization announced an information resource for the independent agent distribution channel to improve MFA in agent-facing technology portals.
