- Each agency user needs just one password to log into their management system and conduct the day’s insurance transactions with participating carriers.
- Every additional participating carrier makes insurance transactions safer and faster.
How does SignOn Once work?
- The agency assigns individual users with credentials, usually an agency email address and an organizational identifier.
- Each user logs into their management system daily with their password.
- The identity provider, usually the management system vendor,assigns the user a unique digital token that is certified for authenticity.
- One or more carriers receive the token and verify it.
- The process provides seamless connectivity. Users are unaware of SignOn Once operating behind the scenes. They no longer need to keep track of passwords for participating carriers.
What does SignOn Once cost?
- SignOn Once is free for agencies that use a partner solution provider such as Vertafore or Applied Systems.
- An optional $250 annual fee allows agencies to attend and vote at the ID Federation annual meeting.
- Carrier fees are based on premium volume.
