ID Federation exists to provide an easy, secure means of limiting the proliferation of IDs and passwords necessary to do business in the insurance industry. The federation developed SignOn Once to be the solution to make that possible.
Agencies acknowledge spending too much time managing credentials for multiple carriers, solution providers and other business partners. That’s time they would rather invest in revenue-generating sales and service. Carriers, solution providers, industry associations and agencies came together as ID Federation to develop a solution that the independent agency distribution channel would embrace because it would benefit all participants.
For the greatest industry impact, ID Federation also set out to have all carriers and solution providers implement the solution and all industry associations rally for awareness and adoption.

- Maintain operational status of organization through correspondence with necessary partners.
- Oversee the planning, implementation and evaluation of the organization’s programs and services.
- Act as liaison between all committees.
- Support the execution of the Sales Consultant role by following through on new interested parties and orchestrating the sales process.
- Monitor the certification process of a member.
- Update documentation in regard to technical and security items; maintain and distribute updates; communicate the impact of updates to existing members; develop messaging around updates; and work through the versioning process.
- Monitor the day-to-day delivery of the programs and services of the organization to maintain or improve quality.
- Oversee the planning, implementation, execution, goal tracking and evaluation of special projects.
- Communicate with the organization’s membership to keep them informed of the work of the organization and to identify changes in the industries served by the organization.
- Act as the liaison to other consortiums or associations with which the group may choose to associate.
- Ensure delivery of programs designed to retain existing members.
- Recruit participation from member companies into various committees of the organization.
- Develop messaging, communication plans and related collateral.
- Communicate project objectives, scope and direction to team.
- Define and implement best practices, standards and procedures.
- Assist in the development of methods and tools to track and measure results.
- Assist in the preparation of user documentation and training materials.
- Communicate with both internal and external customers on project status, e.g. vendors, business partners and information technology.
- Perform other duties and projects that may enhance the relationship of ID Federation with the industry and the partners we work with.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in technical or business discipline or equivalent experience.
- Generally 3+ years of professional experience.
- Extensive knowledge in the following areas: strategies and methodologies as well as related business functions and operations.
- Strong facilitation, consensus building, presentation and communication skills.
- Project management experience desired.
- Ability to work in an independent environment with self-directed efforts.
